77 ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ quotes by Robert Kiyosaki.

Have you read Rich Dad, Poor Dad from Robert Kiyosaki?

The first time I read “RichDad, Poor Dad”, it was probably
between my 14 or 15’s I LOVE reading and this kind of
books were always part of our shelves thanks to mum.

Mum always ensure that we feed our minds with valuable
information besides what I learnt at school, I was a curious
little girl and she always allowed me to express myself
and respected my own –sometimes weird– opinions.

Oh mum, you always gave me the right foundation for my success.

I guess I was being a wealthypreneur without even knowing
what being a wealthypreneur meant back then.

Ok, let’s get back on track! :P… To be honest, it has already
been 12 years since I read it  for the first time and I couldn’t
remember much.

Since last year up until now I’ve listened to the “rich dad, poor dad”
audiobook probably about 10 times, and just recetly I decided
to buy the book again and read it. This time, in english.
(FYI, I’m from Peru so the first time I read it, it was in Spanish)

I started reading the book 2 days ago, and I don’t wanna finish it!
One of my rules is listen to an audio for about 1 hr and read for
about 1 hour. I usually do this right after my morning meditation,
as soon as I wake up. It is one of my rituals.

So yes, you might be saying… Ameli, you spend 2 hours reading
and listening to audios?… 2 HOURS??!!!
YES,  and I call this Investing in myself. I know that my mindset
and my time are my biggest asset so I choose to invest in them
to then, apply what I know not only in businesses, but also in
my life. Nowadays time for me is not a problem anymore as I am
a full time online entrepreneur so I can distribute my time as I please.
Of course, I get distracted sometimes!

Now before I say anything else, I’ll share with you some of
my favourite and …

“There is a big difference between your profession and your business. I often ask people “What is your business?” And they will say “Oh, I’m a banker”. Then, I ask them if they own the bank? And they usually respond “No, I work there” (…)  A problem with school is that you often become what you study (…) The mistale in becoming what you study is that too many people forget to mind their own business. You see with your mind what others miss with their eyes”(Rich Dad, Poor Dad – Robert Kiyosaki).

#29 – Taking the road to financial freedom…

“Always remember to have fun. This is only a game. Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn. But have fun. Most people never win because they are more afraid of losing. That is why I found school so silly. In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk. The same is true for learning to ride a bike. (…) The same is true for getting rich. Unfortunately, the main reason most people are not reach is because they are terrified of losing. Winners are not afraid of losing. But losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success” (Rich Dad, Poor Dad – Robert Kiyosaki).

#34

” The net results is that most workers never get ahead. They do what they’ve taught to do: “get a secure job.” Most workers focus on working for oay and benefits that reward them in the short term, but is often disastrous in the long run” (Rich Dad, Poor Dad – Robert Kiyosaki)

 #35 – Before choosing your career path…

“Instead I recommend to young people to seek work for what they will learn, more than what they will earn. Look down the road at what skills they want to acqure before choosing a specific profession and before getting trapped in the “Rat Race”(Rich Dad, Poor Dad – Robert Kiyosaki)

#36 – What is the Rat Race??

#37 – So, what to do??

“When I speak to adults who want to earn more money, I always recommend the same thing (…) Often I recommend joining a network marketing company, also called multilevel marketing, if they ant to learn sales skills. EDUCATION is more valuable than money, in the long run”(Rich Dad, Poor Dad – Robert Kiyosaki)

After 4 days reading this book again, I’ve to admit I felt
a bit bumped when Robert said “Thank You for reading this book”
it is such a good book and there is so much great info that
I didn’t want to finish it. But, at the same time… There are more
books to read and knowledge to acquire.

As You might very well understand now, Your mindset is your biggest asset
fill it with the right information. But also, it’s not only about new information
and learning but also about TAKING ACTION towards the new things
you learn.

I hope you understand that “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” it is not about
real estateor the share market.  Robert gives this as his examples because
it is his business and his passion and he knows how to play the game of money.

Whatever your career is, and the path you have chosen – or ar about to choose-
make sure you add in some of the skills Robert mentions all along his book
and that I’ve tried to quote in this post.

Remember… TAKE ACTION towards the opportunites in front of you!

That is  what I did to get out of my “rat race”, and now I’m able to work
from home -or wherever I happen to be- from my computer, build my
empire. It is normal to feel confused at the beginning, it is normal to feel
fear and it is normal to fail. Failure is the way to success and as long
as you Learn, it is not failure. So TAKE ACTION, do it for yourself
for the life you deserve and for what you want to achieve. I share some of the
the education I’ve acquired about building my own business,
marketing, branding, selling on my private facebook group that you can access for free.
So you can learn some vital steps to Succeed in business!

A Quick Guide To Finding Your Purpose in Life in 5 Minutes

Have you ever asked yourself “What is my life purpose?”,
or “how do I find my purpose in life?”. I bet you have….

I have, and it has been a whole transition to finally
meet and understand my life purpose. It can be confusing
at times, specially when you really love helping people
but what you want to do does not align with what -at that
certain moment- you know. Does that make sense to you?

Let me explain: As a Medical Doctor, I LOVED taking care
of my patients, I am a nurturing person by nature BUT
by doing this I was leaving behind other areas of my life
like, my family. Specifically, my Mum.

Also, I was leaving behind my own freedom. Which to
me meant having the ability to travel and visit new places,
or just taking my mum out for dinner without worrying about
my schedules. Instead, I spent most of my time on my shifts,
day ant night, sometimes without even seeing my mum or
dedicating some time to myself. See, everything needs to be
in balance.

Eventually -if you know my story- my mother passed away
and everything happened very quickly. Within 21 days.
Sometimes life hits us HARD, but sometimes WE NEED
those hits to make us get out of our own “dope cycle”,
the “rat race” – you name it-.

So I decided to do something different, I didn’t know what
but I knew I Had to…. long story short and fast forwarding
I became an Online Entrepreneur. My business aligns
to my Life Purpose which is: Helping others transform
their lives, creating a life of Total Fulfillment.

So, HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR LIFE PURPOSE?

It is actually very easy to find your life purpose, in fact,
it is easier than we think. But as adults we tend  to look
for the complicated and intricated things that we wind
up making everything unnecessarily complex.

Yes, it is good to examine your life and see how things
are going every certain time BUT, if you spend most of
your time examining your life, then you are not living!
And… what’s the point of that??

Life is meant to be LIVEDLife-is-meant-to-be-lived-wealthypreneurs.

A Quick Guide To Finding Your Purpose in Life in 5 Minutes

and qualified to teach others.

#3  WHO DO YOU DO IT FOR?

In other words, Who are you trying to help?
What problem are you trying to solve?

#4 WHAT DO THOSE PEOPLE WANT OR NEED THAT I HAVE?

Or… What Problem are YOU solving by teaching them
the things you know?
How does it benefit THEM  what you have to offer?
What is it that THEY WANT and you can help them achieve it?

#5 WHAT IS THE RESULT OF IT?

What is the result of it? How do they change or transform as
a result of what You give them/teach them/offer them?

The Power of Goal Setting: 8 Golden Rules For Success

What is the Power of goal setting?

Well, everything starts as an idea that then,
with the right amount of work, will materialize.
When we set goals, we are are designing the
future in advance, we are creating our destiny.

Your goals need to be so strong that you look forward
every morning to get out of bed and work on them.

There’s no right or wrong when setting your own goals
the only condition is that they HAVE TO inspire you,
they have to be compelling so that when things go hard
they motivate you to keep going and when you attain them
they help you grow and become a better person.

Your goals should be in alignment with your values and
are created specifically to transform your life and bring
it to the next level.

HOW TO SET COMPELLING, INSPIRING GOALS

In order to set compelling and  inspiring goals, these are the
golden rules you need to follow:

Have Clear Goals and a Clear Plan of Action Wealthypreneurs

  1. CLARITY. Your goals need to be clear, detailed
and as specific as you can make them. The detailed
they are, the better. Also, you must have a specific
plan of action for their attainment.
In other words, HAVE A CLEAR VISION & A CLEAR PLAN.2
  2. KNOW YOUR WHY. This Step is VITAL because
You can have all of the resources you need, the books,
the information, the people, the support, everything
you need to succeed with your goals BUT if you don’t
know WHY you are doing it, if you don’t know WHY
you are moving towards your goals, then it is rare that
    you are going to succeed.
So ask yourself, WHY do I want to achieve this goals?
What is the main reason I created them?
You must be absolutely clear about your why,Know HOW, plan of action wealthypreneurs goal setting
  3. KNOW YOUR HOW. This step is as important as
knowing your why. You MUST have a plan of action,
know HOW you are going to make those goals happen.
In order to know which direction you are going to take,
you must know where you are at. So have a plan of action,
a strategy, this doesn’t mean that once you develop your
plan of action it will stay like that forever, no! You need
to be flexible, and it is for sure that along the way some
things will change, so leave room for improvement.believe and have faith goal setting wealthypreneurs
  4. BELIEVE & HAVE FAITH. Once you have a clear
mental image of what your goals are,  the plan of action
you are going to follow and you know why you are going
to pursue this goals, you MUST have absolute total faith
and trust that you WILL Do it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m
not saying “all you need is believe, trust & pixie dust”
but just know that YOU MUST Believe in Yourself, in Your
goals, in that no matter what happens, you will succeed!.Think outside the box wealthypreneurs be creative goal setting
  5. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. I am sure that you have
probably heard about the SMART goals. A lot of people
talk about them. I like them, is a good foundation but I do
not agree with them at all. WHY? This is Why…
I don’t agree with the “Realistic” side of having Smart goals
because when you think “realistically” you are limiting
yourself and the endless possibilities in the universe.
Because when you think “real” you are basing your future
on past experiences and if you base your future based on
the past you’re simply going to get anywhere.
Just be creative when setting your goals, there are no limits.
Be BOLD and create exciting, compelling goals.Keep a daily review journal goal setting wealthypreneurs
  6. KEEP A DAILY REVIEW JOURNAL,
Yes… keep a journal from moment zero, from
the very very beginning. Do you remember that
I  previously said everything starts with an idea?
Well, a journal is going to be one of your most
powerful tools to brainstorm and write more ideas
down, your progress, what is working or not.
Start by writing your goals there, map  out your
    plan of action.
It doesn’t matter if it looks messy, it doesn’t matter
if you write here and there, as long as YOU
    UNDERSTAND IT and you know
what is there it is fine :)!

  7. BE FLEXIBLE, Be Adaptable. As Charles Darwin
said: “It’s not the strongest of the species that
survives, nor the most intelligent, it is the one that
is most adaptable to CHANGE“. Things are always
changing and a strategy what works today may not
be working tomorrow. So be flexible, and ALWAYS
    leave room for improvement..
Stay committed to your decisions but stay flexible in
your approach” (Anthony Robbins).Be consistent goal setting wealthypreneurs anthony robbins robert kiyosaki
  8. BE CONSISTENT. Consistency is KEY. Nothing
was ever achieved by merely luck or overnight and with
no efforts. Every success requires an amount of effort
    and almost unreasonable consistency.
It is the little steps what create the journey. It is those
millions of water drops that shape the sea.
You must also know that there are going to be moments
when things will probably seem confusing or not as great
as you want them to be. Understand that it is part of the
game and no matter what you MUST remain CONSISTENT.
This is why it is VITAL and INDISPENSABLE to know and
understand your WHY. Your WHY is what is going to fire
you up and give you the strength and motivation to continue.
Finally remember what we’ve been talking about over the
last days: Whatever you focus on CONSISTENTLY, you will
    experience in your life.

Before ending this post, I would like an exercise for you,

  • 1. go grab a pen and paper
  • 2. Take 15 minutes to write down there all of the things
you want to achieve. If it makes it easier take 5 minutes to
write your personal goals, financial goals and business/career goals.
  • Once you finish doing that, take an extra 3 minutes to add
a set  time for each goal like, the ones you want to achieve
    within the next 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 years.

Remember, You are capable of achieving anything you want 🙂

See you tomorrow 🙂

Get to the EDGE and LIVE WITH PASSION! – Countdown to BALI

AMELI EXPOSED: GET TO THE EDGE AND LIVE WITH PASSION

AMELI EXPOSED?? Seriously?
Yes, that’s correct. If you’re reading this you’re obviously wondering about it.

Since our Bali Mastermind is starting in August,
and the theme of it is TRANSFORMATION, then over
the next days I will go through my little own PRE- TRANSFORMATION
so In this post I’m going to show you myself naked, as I am.

You may find some things you agree with , like and inspire you
and my hope is, to give you an idea of what YOU can achieve
and how you can create an amazing life for yourself
by getting to the Edge and LIVING WITH PASSION!

Ready?
Ok… Here we go!

One of the huge advantages of being able to work from home
and run my own business online is having the freedom to
Take some time off when I chose to.

Over the last weeks I have kept myself very quiet and in the background.
The reason of it is that even when I was doing good with business,
I felt there was something…. missing.

Being a Wealthypreneur…

See, I love seeing more income coming into my bank account,
but if I don’t feel it, if for some reason it seems a bit disconnected from my
main purpose, then it is not fulfilling anymore.

To me being a WEALTHYPRENEUR is doing things with PURPOSE,
things that fulfill and give a meaning to your life, my success is a result of it
and my income is a quantifiable way to measure it.

Being a Wealthypreneur is being Wealthy in ALL AREAS of Your Life:
Your Health, Nutrition & Physical Body; Your Emotions, Your Relationships,
Your Career & Mission, Your Finances & Your Contribution to the world.

Introspection Times…

woman wild emotional rollercoaster wealthypreneursI have spend the last weeks doing some introspection going through
a roller coaster of emotions, reasons, Why’s, burning-desires and
the actions I have been taking.

I’ve find myself crying for no reason, feeling super down and
somehow kind of stuck in some sort of “je ne sais quoi” state.
On the other hand, I’ve also felt super happy, blessed, grateful
and lucky for the life that I’m living and for everything around me.
It’s been an overwhelming experience….

Crazy People Shape the World

By now, you probably think I’m crazy…. well…. YES, I AM
And you know what? Crazy people shape the world.

I am different, I’m the quiet person with a loud mind,
I’m the creative mind behind wonderful things,
the woman who watches you straight into the eye and tries to see through your soul
the woman who listens carefully, pays attention and doesn’t usually say a word
but when I do, I’ve got so much passion and so much to share and give
that words are not enough, sometimes I speak too fast for some people
and I often wind up out of breath and I create words on the go that
might sound weird or funny but can shake your whole world.

And here is to the crazy ones…

LIFE MOTTO: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON

I follow my heart and my intuition, I TOTALLY believe that
EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON
I believe in it SO BAD that it is my motto in life.

I don’t believe in casualties but Causalities and mostly,
I AM CERTAIN that WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY
no matter where you are at right now, no matter where you come from
or what your background is. YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY.

Now, before I go out of subject, I’ll get back to narrate you the
roller coaster I’ve deliberately embarked myself in. I  have analized every single emotion,
its origins, its effects and I’ve tried to descifer the hidden codes in it in order
to convert those “Personal Challenges” into “Personal Successes”.

I’m an innate curious person who LOVES analyzing, questioning and mostly… Understanding :).

So after that period, I decided to DO something for myself,
not for the monetary income that is going to generate me but for
how much is going to make me grow as a person, as a human being of quality
and  therefore as a better human being to Serve YOU.

TODAY I am starting day number one of my Personal CHALLENGE.
I am GETTING TO THE EDGE of MY LIFE to LIVE with PASSION and PURPOSE EVERYDAY.

Over the following days I am going to share a thought, a piece of advice or a simple exercise with the aim to help you go through your day, go through those challenges you are going right now, and to help you break those certain patterns in your day-to-day life that are cause the gap from Where you are to where You Want to Be.

And considering that Our “Countdown to Bali”has officially started too, then let’s do it :)!

WE are going to GET THE EDGE & Live With Passion!

See you tomorrow folks!

Love & Light,

~ Ameli.

Why we do what we do? – Tony Robbins TED talk

I came across this fantastic Tony Robbins Ted Talk
a couple of days ago and the first thing that caught
my attention was the tittle….WHY we do what we do?.

No, I’m not talking about Edward L. Deci’s book
and his theory of Self-motivation –which in fact is
absolutely interesting-
.

What Tony shares on this TED talk  are the REASONS,
the WHY’s of what is behind the decisions we  take
and the things we do.

What is your motor of action? As he lays out in this video,

“You can know something intellectually.
You can know what to do and then not apply it
So really what we gotta remind ourselves is
Decision is the ultimate power.”

and….

“OUR DECISIONS SHAPE OUR DESTINY “

Ok, I better leave Tony Robbins explain you Why we do what we do.

Watch this video with an open mind and enjoy his TED talk :)….

What do you think about it??  Let me know in the comments below 🙂

[Friday motivation] – The 6 Secrets To Success by Arnold Schwarzenegger

I came across this video and
I decided to share it with you. It
made me think about the secret

to success.

But…what is the secret to success??

Is it maybe sacrificing your own life
to climb the ladder of your job?

Is it spending more than 40 hours a week
on a job that doesn’t leave you any time left
to do the things that you love? and that …
you’ll eventually get to hate.

Is it living pay-check to pay-check?

The 6 Secrets To Success Arnold Schwarzenegger-Wealthypreneurs

You have come to this world
to be nothing but The Best Version of YOURSELF.
As Arnie said…
“It doesn’t matter what you are but WHO
you want to be. WHAT makes YOU happy?”
Watching this video reminded me of my own story,
quitting my MD job to pursue my own FREEDOM.
The journey hasn’t been easy but life is so beautiful
when you focus on your vision and you decide to
take action, ignoring the naysayers.
Choose Your Own FREEDOM!
Don’t aspire to make a living,
Aspire to Make A Difference.
YOU CAN DO IT!

Love & Light,
